Low Carb Dessert Ideas

matter how important your health is to you, it can be hard to resist the sweet desserts. I think an important factor for success when you change your diet and try to limit your intake of carbohydrates, already had options that are healthier than the usual choice for dessert. For example, I often eat more dark chocolate than I should, but compared to my old habit of eating 200 grams of milk chocolate, I eat 100 grams of dark chocolate. While dark chocolate contains sugar, it is still a much better solution than the 200 grams of milk chocolate. I would say dark chocolate is a healthy dessert if you are able to stop before they eat the whole chocolate, as I often do. So it’s not always just about eating healthy food but also eating healthy amounts.

Three quick low carb dessert suggestions

chocolate must contain at least 70% cocoa, but the darker the better, because the darker chocolate has less sugar.

1) berries with whipped cream

This is my all time favorite dessert.

It’s simple and delicious. Raspberries are the lowest in carbohydrates.

2) chocolate with whipped cream

Melt the dark chocolate. Whip the cream. Combine chocolate, cream and some shredded orange peel. Put it in the refrigerator.

3) Chocolate Strawberry

Dip your strawberries into melted chocolate. Place the strawberries aside until the chocolate sets.

This is just a few quick suggestions. There are many low carb dessert options. Some other favorites are the homemade chocolate mousse, ice cream and cheesecake. Dessert does not have to be a high-sugar, a pleasure to eat.
